Ngongotaha ELC Fee Structure

Full day Childcare Rates

All fees include morning & afternoon tea, Nutritious hot cooked lunch with a dessert.  Nappies are also provided.  We provide milk but not formula.

Over 3’s:

Children claiming ECE, rates will vary depending on the amount of hours your child attends i.e.

• Children attending up to 18 hours (no more than 6 hours in one day) will incur an optional charge of $5.00 per day to cover the costs of educational resources, outings and nutritional meals.
• Children attending from 18+ hours will be charged as per our fee schedule (consult management)
• ECE Children that attend for up to 6hours in 1 day are to be dropped off and picked up between their booked times or a early/late fee of $10.00 per day will be incurred on top of the $5.00.

All Children:

Children on daily rates must pay for all booked, unattended days and public holidays.

Weekly and daily accounts must be paid for on or before Thursday of that week.

If your account is 2 weeks in arrears, Ngongotaha Early Learning will no longer provide a position for your child/ren unless prior signed agreement with Management is obtained.  Children will not be able to return to Ngongotaha Early Learning until the outstanding account is paid in full.

It is expected that casual accounts will be paid in full on the day of attendance unless special arrangement has been made with management.

If WINZ subsidies have been applied for, parents are responsible to pay 50% of the fees until such time as WINZ payments are received.  It is parent’s responsibility to follow up with WINZ to confirm your acceptance of subsidy.  If a WINZ subsidy application is declined, all outstanding fees become your responsibility to pay.

Accounts left unpaid which are forwarded to a collection agency will incur all added costs of collection and this fee will be your responsibility to pay.  Any information provided to Ngongotaha Early Learning will be collected, used and retained for the purposes of credit checking, monitoring and registering a credit default if necessary under the provision of the Privacy Act 1993.

A late fee is payable of $10.00 if you are late to pick up your child/ren unless you have made previous arrangements with management.  A late fee of $20.00 is payable every 10 minutes after close of business day.

Holidays

If you are intending on taking your child out for a holiday you will need to fill out a written notice of absence TWO weeks prior to the intended date.  If this is completed on time and you do not receive ECE OR WINZ subsidy you will receive a 50% discount if forms are completed on time. This discount does not apply to families receiving WINZ subsidies or ECE hours.

If you receive WINZ/ ECE and your child is away for more than 3 consecutive weeks the law required us, to cancel your entitlement and you will need to reapply and you will be charged at the full day rate.

If you would like to change your days, increase or decrease your hours, we require 2 weeks written notice and you may be put on a waiting list if the days you request are unavailable.

If you wish to terminate your enrolment with us, two weeks’ notice must be given in writing.  You will be charged two weeks from the last day attended if notice is not given.
